3D Visualisation

I became interested in 3D computer generated images in 1990. I started using Renderman from Pixar at that time. Almost all the 3D images in Scientific Visualisation were done with Renderman. In one case it involved writing a small program called a "shader" to colour a object.

More recently I have used Cinema4D XL from Maxon

I've used 3D in many projects to visualise objects that don't exist or to illustrate a concept that is best expressed in 3D.
